Adaeze P. Nwoba is a highly accomplished and versatile legal professional, currently serving as the Founder and Principal Partner of Kleinfeld LP, a prominent law and business advisory firm in Nigeria. She obtained her BA (Hons) in Business Management and International Relations from Keele University then obtained her LLB (Hons.) degree from the University of Leicester. She has positioned herself as “The CEO’s Attorney”, providing full-service legal and business advice to local and regional business owners in Nigeria and beyond.
With a diverse range of legal interests, she has made a significant impact in various areas of law. Her expertise spans intellectual property, where she has successfully navigated the complexities of protecting and enforcing clients’ intellectual assets; assisting start-ups with their formation and compliance requirements, thereby contributing in fostering a thriving start-up ecosystem in Nigeria. Corporate finance and capital fundraising are also within her repertoire, where she has proven her capability in structuring and negotiating deals that fuel business growth and success.
Additionally, Adaeze has actively embraced the potential of emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain. She has contributed her expertise as a researcher to the Mankind and Artificial Intelligence organization, focusing on exploring the legal implications and rights related to these technologies. She’s also contributed to The Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Diversity and Gender Equality (DGE) in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in sub-Saharan Africa report, exploring the intersection between artificial intelligence and Human Resources. This involvement has further solidified her reputation as a forward-thinking legal mind in the rapidly evolving digital era. Adaeze’s passion for contributing to the legal community extends beyond her firm and clients. She has been involved in contributing to the World Bank Law and Business Report, which showcases her commitment to legal research and the advancement of legal practices on a global scale
Apart from her roles at Kleinfeld LP, Adaeze is an esteemed member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) in Nigeria, adding a valuable dimension to her skill set by offering HR advisory services to businesses seeking to optimize their human resources strategies.
In addition to her legal practice, Adaeze serves as a board member of various companies, where she provides critical legal oversight and acts as a company secretary, ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards.
