Sandra holds an LLM in International Commercial and Business Law from the prestigious University of East Anglia. She also earned a degree in Law from Birmingham City University and a degree in Political Science from Nnamdi Azikiwe University. This multidisciplinary education has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the legal, business, and political landscapes.
She began her legal career as an Associate at Firma Advisory, a boutique law and consulting firm, where she provided comprehensive legal support to clients on corporate/commercial and intellectual property (IP) related matters. Her strong legal acumen and attention to detail made her a valuable asset to the firm.
Prior to her tenure at Firma Advisory, Sandra gained valuable experience at Norfolk Public Law (NPLAW), where she handled cases for Local Government, Public Bodies, and Charitable Institutions in Norfolk County, UK. She further honed her expertise in employment rights-related issues during her time at the Central England Law Centre and Bradical Employment Rights in Birmingham, where she provided insightful advice to clients.
Driven by her dedication to social-economic development, Sandra served as a Legal and Business Development Officer at R-DATS Consulting. R-DATS’s work has resulted in increased data utilization for program design and policy actions, serving esteemed clients such as the World Bank, UNICEF Nigeria, United States Institute of Peace (USIP), Development Gateway, among others. In this role, she contributed to the strategic positioning of the company by developing competitive technical proposals that resulted in successful project awards from prestigious clients such as the World Bank. She also ensured streamlined operations and optimal efficiency in project implementations across Africa.
Before joining R-DATS, Sandra served as a Programs Support Officer at Africa Policy Conversations Initiative (AFPC), where she played a pivotal role in driving policy advocacy and fostering meaningful stakeholder engagements for policy reform and implementation in Nigeria. Her efforts were instrumental in organizing conferences with industry leaders and stakeholders from the private and public sectors, aimed at addressing defective policies in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
Fuelled by her desire to make a tangible difference, Sandra co-founded “Friends with a Goal (FWG),” a civil society organization focused on implementing social campaigns to improve the lives of settlement communities and indigent people in Nigeria. This initiative showcases her proactive approach to social change and highlights her ability to mobilize resources and drive impactful initiatives.
Currently, Sandra provides invaluable legal support to Akinlolu Jekins & Co., a UK-based entertainment company specializing in the execution of exclusive high-profile events and major concerts hosted by renowned music artists and comedians. Her legal expertise and keen interest in the entertainment industry make her an indispensable asset to the company.
